Thank you for the rigging explanation! Turnbuckles or no turnbuckles, it looks great. And this F. 1 looks absolutely the same, very nice weathering effects!
Best wishes
Andreas

That is very, very well done Rick! Some beautiful and subtle weathering on a well executed paint scheme - that Triplane does it for me! Congratulations! Marc

I'm not sure I've seen a better streaking effect yet.  I still have an Eduard Dr.I that I haven't pushed forward because the streaking thing is something I've been mulling over for a very long time.  My initial thought was to try with a rake brush and variously thinned oils (Payne's grey over light blue or linen colour, plus some other contrast streak hue has been the plan).  I'll have to look into what you've done here instead, because it's superb.

Totally agree that you are the master when it comes to streaking. The oil stains are really very good too. This is a wonderful  trio that you are making.

Stephen.

The Se is nice. OK, very nice. The rigging has just the right delicate look.
The silver-blue on the Tripehund is just as I would imagine it looked. Great rendering of oil spills as well.

Though I am by no means a DrI fan, I'd almost be tempted to get one... that looks really good!
