Tony,
Lovely work so far, I've been following your progress since you opened this Thread almost a month ago, and your progress belies the quality of your work! Your results with the wood grain decals is truly spectacular, more so having checked out some of the Museum photos on the Link from Bruno.
    Very impressive! :o :)
Cheers,
Lance

Happy New Year!
New year resolution - finish what I start  :-[
A few days off over the christmas break have given me time to get the old C.VI out after about three months.

First the inspection hatches. I had a bunch left over fom various Eduard Albie builds, by adding three bits of plastic strip, sanded to shape I've got an appropriation of L.V.G. louvred hatches. A better way to do this would be to "clone" them by taking a mould from just one making sure they are all identical.

You can see where I've  painted the old frets different colours at different times

Control horn with Gaspatch turnbuckle. The wire is trimmed when in place

I'm looking forward to giving her wings after all this time!
Cheers,
Tony.

The inspection hatches look fantastic, Tony, as do the elevator and rudder control lines!  Looking forward to the next update.
Cheers,
Bud

Hi,

a very good job!  :D
The right time for an LVG, before the WnW LVG is turning back. ;)

Looking forward to see the next steps!
