Bonjour

I have a long serie of 1/16 100 % scrachbuilt WW1  Aircrafts
100 % scratchbuilt from internet or WDF drawings or scale plans
(Balsa,paper,metal...) and from period photos

first 6 of about 27 (+8 ww2 aircrafts)
Halberstadt DII


Nieuport XII Escadrille N62


Fokker DRI Baumer


Fokker DVII Ernst Udet


Hanriot HD1 70e Squadriglia


Morane Saulnier type AI escadrille MS 156


Nieuport XVII Guynemer N 1530

Sorry ,Unfortunaly I have no photos of progress Too bad because the construction of scratchbuilt is very similar to that of true, with  wings and fuselage ribs covered with tissue or balsa sheets according to the type of aircraft

Not to worry my friend. I hope you'll post a build thread here later on showing you method. No doubt anyone who scratch builds will greatly benefit  from learning from your techniques. The second batch of Masterpieces are absolutely inspiring .

Hi Bruno, I think you did a remarkable job on all your scratchbuilds but most especially the Halberstadt DII.  That aircraft was quite an important early single seater but somehow gets overlooked.

Having done a few scratch builds myself I know the effort that goes into building just one model, but you have a superb collection of aircraft models and in 1:16 scale, you  must have an enormous room that you keep all these models.

Congratulations on producing such an enormous body of quality work Bruno,a really attractive collection. I am also impressed by the inclusion of the Halberstadt,I would love to see WNW kit this.
