Good grief Tug, leaping out of a C119 in Brandon/Rivers in Jan-Feb-Mar........  Now that had to be a chilling experience! Wear them with pride as I'm sure you do; you've truly been to the very edge of the "frozen cone of silence of the Great White North". I flew to Cambridge Bay in the Arctic in a 119 in late 63 for a Survival Course; I don't know what was colder, the trip or the two weeks in the frozen wastes! I hope your subsequent service was in more temperate climates.
Cheers,
Lance

Goodness me, Bud! Surely it's more than just you and me. I can only be there for the Saturday, so I might not get too much chance to photograph things.

Best wishes
Nigel

It certainly was Bud six months later I was in Singapore  ;D

This was in Churchill (February) - I'm not in the pic but it's my platoon mates

The bigger 33ft chutes proved difficult - they didn't steer like the 28ft X type we were used to

This was a few weeks later on a weekender in Winnepeg. That's me in civvies in the centre, I was just turned eighteen.  Three of us are still in touch today.

Sorry about the nostalgia ::) but thanks for the nudge  better get back on topic

Regards - Tug

That's good news. Just down from my club stand (IPMS Lancashire).
Need some lozenge decals.

See you all there.
