SSW D.III/ Eduard/1:48
«

Hello,
Let me present Eduard’s SSW.III powered by Karaya’s Sh.III. It represents 1626/18 serial no. flown by VzFw. Reimann of Kest 4b.
IMHO the cowling was not painted in comparison with Windsock data file, but I might be wrong. B&W stripes were made from masks and wings covered with Aviattic lozenge, which caused me some trouble due to my fault and let me put it this way: temporary black out
. The spinner looks like white/grayish, so I have chosen first option
regards
K

Great scheme, K, and a very nice model! The SSW D.III is a favourite of mine, and this combination of colours as well. Congratulations on a fine Build!

That is a very fine build - the photos with the background make it look very realistic. The finish is superb - I would never have realised that you had problems with the lozenge transfers.
