NEW ZEPPELIN KITS
« on: July 23, 2016, 08:27:48 PM »
Hi Guys,

Mark 1 Models of the Czech Republic has announced three 1:720 scale injection moulded kits of a P  Type Zeppelin. Same moulds for each but different boxings and decals. Despite the small scale they look very promising and sit well with Revell's Hindenburg. They tell me if sales are good ,more types will follow...

Find them under 1:720 scale models at www.4pluspublications.com

Cheers,

Ray R.

Thanks

These look interesting, I wonder if anyone makes scale aircraft, to show how big the zeppelins are. Curious why they chose 1/720 instead of 1/700 which is a ship scale. They would go well with a diorama, that has sea vessels.

One question, are there other kit makers who make airships in injected plastic in this scale or larger from the First World War period ? I believe I have seen the later Hindenberg as a kit.

1/700 scale would be better. I am thinking of buying and building a zep one day. If the price isn't too high

Still cannot locate a 1/720 page, do not see it under models, even tried the search function. Can someone take a look and confirm?
Thanks

I just tried it, and (after setting it to English) it worked fine.

These look nice. I don't see a price, anyone know what the price might be? Also, how big would a 1/720 Scale Zeppelin be?

I don't know how many people have noticed this, but Hannants has announced a future release by Mark 1 Models of an R-type Zeppelin. It will come in two boxings. Personally I can hardly wait until their release. I'm quivering I'm so excited.
