This one is turning into a stunning model! It is fantastic to see a more unusual scheme and you are really nailing the overall appearance.

   Dave,
Awesome big silver bird my old friend. However I'm disappointed the Lewis mount doesn't traverse or elevate. LOL just kidding the mounting and the entire project is a perfect example of the highest level of skill and craftsmanship.IMHO she's truly a remarkable project in total. Keep up the outstanding works.

PS.

I did use fine knicker elastic for the bungee in the Scarff
ring, but had to superglue it in position, as it became all
to difficult and looked daft  ;) Still, what the heck.
Cheers gents, and I thank you for your encouragement.
Long winter nights approaching for us in the Southern
hemisphere, so more will get done (fingers crossed).

Take care lads

Remarkable detail work as always, Red.  Truly brilliant.

Hello Dave:

Really top quality workmanship on display here.  You keep tantalizing us with these small details.  Looking forward to wing attachment.  This is one of my favorite WWI a/c so I am keeping "close tabs" on your progress.

Best
