Revell Albatros DIII 1/72
« on: August 19, 2012, 11:15:21 PM »
This is my first model for the exercise that I made after nearly 30 years of abstinence from modeling. The wires are too large, decals have a silvering  etc...

It is a good looking model. In fact, it is the best 1/72 Revell Albatros D.III that I can recall seeing. You have turned a sow's ear into a silk purse full of cash.

Couldn't have said it better, Pozar.  Excellent.
Cheers,

Thank you,

I do not know English well and I can only imagine what this term means:

"You have turned a sow's ear into a silk purse full of cash."

It means that you took something of small value and created something of great value.

Good one, mate - particularly like the wood grain effect on the fuselage.

   Pozar,
Very impressive works my friend with two outstanding projects presented today. I have a feeling we are going to see many more Great Works from your bench in the future.
Highest Regards,
