Hi von Mertens,
this is a very very nice triplan, well done!
If you upload your pics on photobucket or any other platform you can share the pics in much higher solution than this. Somebody else told me when I came here new to the forum and it worked well and was quite easy...
Best wishes

That is a beautiful Model, von Mertens. The streaking and the colours used look perfect to my eyes, and the weathering and shading are superb.
Very nicely done and presented!
Cheers,
Lance

I thank you Friends! On this model are very well visible transparent characteristics of red paint "Kraplak", on various surfaces, a cowl, disks of wheels and a rack ...

I just thought I would ask a couple of questions. Is the streaking done using Drooling Bulldog paints? If yes what colors? Are the streaks dry brushed? Straight from the bottle ? Thinned paint? Thanks in advance,

Has to disappoint you. Paints of Bulldog very quickly dry and therefore don't suit for this work, but it is made pigments which are a part of the basic palette for German aircraft, it is Umbra and Prussian Blue. Regards Mertens

It is very pleasant to me that you like my work. Because often I hear negative comments accusing me of charlatanism, I want to prove to you that I not only the artist and the historian, but also the modeller. I am not a businessman, my paints, it is part of research and attempt to keep historical appearance Aircraft of Great War. I ask you not to perceive it as advertizing of paints, I just have no time and desire to argue with arrogant people who have neither arguments, nor ability to carry on constructive dialogue. Thank you for your trust! Regards Mertens

No disappointment at all. So you streak on Prussian blue and umber oils? Looks great!

PS: In the hints and tips section there is a thread on Fokker Streaking: Show us your method. It would be great if you could add your Dr1 and explain what you did.
