Hannover CL.II
« on: April 23, 2016, 05:26:01 PM »

Hello all,

Calling this done now. It's been a super kit, falls together and very detailed too. Thoroughly recommended.

I even got the engine running  ;D

Thanks to all who followed along. It'll be featured in a future 'Scale Aviation Modeller'.

Very nicely done Sir Gisbod.

Your colour scheme is excellent

Nice touch with the running engine.

I assume taxi tests are complete?

Looking forward to the first flight test results  ;)

Bravo!   :)

Lovely result

Unusually finished

Really very individual

Excellent workmanship

A stunning rendition of the type, unusual and quite different from most we see.

What a beauty! Very well done!
One last question: What kind of castor oil are you using for your engine? I've got that problem, that normal castor oil is too thick for my 1/144 scale rotary engines (they just puke black smoke) although my 1/288 scale V-8 engine runs quite smooth.  ::)
Best wishes

Extremely well done Guy, the build, the painting and the rigging are all superb, a truly exceptional looking Hannover, the running propeller is the perfect finishing touch.

Bravo Guy!  The Hannover is a real gem, my friend.  Your paint and
rigging are top notch and the overall look of the model is such a treat
for the eyes.  A real showpiece and a very enjoyable build log!

Cheers,
Ernie :)
