For those who are interested in the flying characteristics of this thing - well what passed for flying characteristics - apparently it was flown once and then grounded because it was so difficult to handle in the air. It did not stop the Lloyd company from designing some other equally bizarre types - needless to say almost all of which were failures. Early aircraft designs really did look odd sometimes, but the general rule of thumb that if it looked right it was probably about right did seem to work - but Lloyd seem to have taken their designs to extremes in a way that few other companies did.
