Wood Grain Simulation
« on: April 19, 2012, 12:47:06 PM »
I thought this might be of interest.  This is an article I put together shortly after completing my Wingnut LVG in response to numerous questions regarding the wood grain effect.  As you'll see, it's pretty much what WNW describes in the kit instructions!

Des, I still have the original Word document if there's a better way to make this available here but in the mean time, this link to the Hyperscale archives will work.

Hi Eric,

Thanks very much for posting the article link, it is very informative and will be very useful to other modelers. Please send me the word document and I will see if I can post it here and make it a sticky topic, this is a topic that would be utilized by many.
