A triple tank mega build
« on: April 12, 2016, 04:20:44 PM »
Hi all

My last post from Qatar before I head back home (Canberra)  permanently this evening… and as part of the long wind-down here I have been in the odd situation of having no family responsibilities for 3 months….  What does one do in such situations?  Work bench time of course!

So a quick post of my projects – 3 tanks in 3 months – a feat I’m sure I’ll never, ever replicate.  Lots of fun doing these – first armour models in 35 years… the Meng A7v and Takom Mk IV and Whippet.  The photos are poor as I was in a rush, but you can get the gist.  I’ll get around to doing dioramas some time.

Cheers

FF

Thanks everyone - and i managed to get them back with only moderate damage. Now to do up the mancave and then it's decision time.... What next on the bench? Something with a propeller and wire... Maybe a wnm eiendecker or my first resin model- a silver wings hart?

Cheers

Great models only Mark IVs were painted a dark earth not a dark green. For information of German tanks see the book: The German A7V tank and captured British Mark IV tanks of WW I" it looks like you are modeling the A7V #504 Schnuck you might want to look at the camo and marking in this book.
