Deperdussin 1911 Lindberg 1/48

Hello,
It`s my share of the French GB. The kit is well known oldie goldie. I mus admit I really enjoyed building it. The things I`ve replaced or added are described in the under construction thread :
http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=6764.0
I thought this one would be a rather quick build but it turned out to be something longer for my standards...
My model depicts or is rather inspired by the Deperdussin from Oslo Teknisk Museum.
I`m aware that there are plenty of errors and flaws in my build, but I`m relatively happy with the result.

What a spectacular little gem you've created, Filip! I love the modifications you've made. Very realistic looking.
Cheers,

Spectacular Filip, it's a beautiful model and, remembering the "qualities" of Lindberg kits from the past, it was no doubt a lot of work and skill to get this result.
Nicely done!

Don't know how I missed this one - but somehow I have. Marvellous model - looks much bigger than it really is and is difficult to believe that this started as the old Inpact kit. A truly wonderful build - very many congratulations on another of your mini-masterpieces.

I am pretty sure I said this in the French GB but it is worth repeating. Simply gorgeous work all around! Beautiful translucent effect, painting, and your decals are applied perfectly!
