Thanks gents, much appreciated!
Warren, my method is pretty straightforward but unfortunately is not foolproof! When I attach the lines I add the CA from between the wings to the second end of the line (when I tighten it), as the pegs are in the way otherwise. Once dry, I remove the pegs and add a spot of CA to the other side. This has 2 purposes: 1) It makes sure the line is secure and 2) it helps to ensure the hole is completely filled. I use the tip of a new scalpel blade to remove the excess line flush with the wing surface and if I get it right, a tiny dab or two of paint is all that is needed to hide the evidence. If it doesn't go well, the undersides particularly can be a pain. I have this problem in one area on this one, where the peg was inadvertantly touching the wing underside right at the hole and the CA wicked along it, resulting in a bare patch which is very difficult to hide. I may try Prez's idea on my next build, and fit the lines to the lower wing before painting, ensuring a uniform finish. The upper surfaces are not usually a problem as they don't have the lighter rib highlights on them, so if there is an issue, I can give it a quick blast with the airbrush - unless of course, there are kingposts and rigging in the way..... Again, a tiny dab of paint is usually all that is required to hide the holes.
A lot of time today spent doing little bits and pieces - cleaning up after the rigging, painting bits and pieces etc., but I have made some visible progress....
First up were the bomb racks - I may yet regret fitting them this early.... I taped a piece of plastic rod to the wing to ensure that they all lined up...

and I'm very pleased with how they look!

Next were the exhausts manifolds, painted first, then cut and CA'd to the cylinders...

The exhausts were also trimmed to size, drilled out, and painted.

Then I added the side panels along the base of the fuel tank...

Hopefully I can get the exhausts on tomorrow, then make a start on the tail....
Thanks for looking in!
