Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 WNW and AVIATTIC " Naval Hex"
« on: March 15, 2016, 07:16:04 AM »
Hello,
lots of fun to achieve this Hansa, definitely the most playful model for me. The Aviattic decals arise easily... except on the floats where there is lot of reliefs, but with the DACO and cunning, the done well

Truly stunning, Michel!  As always, your weathering is superb!  I'll use yours as a guide to finishing mine (when and if I ever get around to finishing it :-[) and hope that it turns out half as lush as yours.
Cheers,
Bud

Michel,
I echo Bud's compliments, a beautiful model and the finish and weathering are superb. I too have one in the Stash and hope I finish it half as well as this when I get to it! Just great work! 8) 8) 8)

Awesome job, Michel. I remember seeing a few in-progress photos of your model, and it was really shaping up to be a very nicely finished piece. The final product is truly beautiful to behold. Congratulations on such a well done project.
Cheers,
Gary

I like the amount of weathering you have applied - it's very convincing for a well used seaplane.

I like that very much, for all the reasons mentioned above.

You've produced a miniature real aircraft rather than a scale model one.

Great work!

Wow - superb modelling! The W.12 is a really beautiful bird and your model totally captures it. Aviattic decals are a great quality product - I cannot agree more!
