Albatros D.V 1:144 scratch - Paul Bäumer, Jasta 5
« on: March 13, 2016, 03:48:35 AM »
Finally finished after almost a year (actually this has just verified the previous experience, as each of my 4 latest builds took me almost exactly a year), this is my scratch of Paul Bäumer´s D.V. Of course imperfections can be found, but all in all I have a good feeling of the result.

The complete model was painted with Drooling Bulldog paints.

Many thanks to all forum members who were following the build for your supportive and encouraging comments as well as for your advises.

Cheers

Ondra

It's a spectacular model Ondra, it's hard to believe it's in such a small scale. Congratulations on a very nicely done project, you can be very proud of this one! 8) 8)

I simply cannot believe that that is 1/144 scale! A real little gem - and worth the time taken. Excellent modelling.

What a marvelous little masterpiece, Ondra!  I would need an optivisor just to see the finished model, let alone the individual, impossibly tiny parts.  Truly amazing!

Ondra,

WW1 aircraft fiddly enough in 1/72 let alone 1/144 tiny scale - amazing work, well done.
