Aviatik Berg D.II - Karaya/1:48 (39.08)
« on: February 19, 2016, 02:25:01 AM »
Hello,

And here we have unverspannt Berg done. The wings pattern is only my assumption based on  K.u.K Luftfahrtruppe Tarnstoff 1917-1918 by Glen K. Merrill.  Special thanks to Grzegorz Mazurowski for technical  knowledge of Kuk’s camo and Melius Manu for great hex masks. All of you for support!

regards
K

She's truly stunning, K!  Man, I wish I had the courage and patience to attempt that hex scheme.  It's really quite striking.
Cheers,
Bud

Simply splendid! I love it! Like I said before one of the most aesthetically pleasing camouflages and you have given it justice. I`m in deep admiration to your patience and painting skills. It just has not enough rigging  ;) ;) ;)
Superb job Krzysiek - one of your best!
Best regards
Filip

That is a model to be envious of. The hexagons are truly wonderful - a mini-masterpiece.
