Dear fellow modelers; these kits have been unavailable for quite sometime now. the day before yesterday is was on a stopover in Tokyo (akihabara where the hobbyshops are). a visit to the Volks shop (producer of the amazing 1/32 Heinkel 219 and others) brought a nice surprise! They still have at least one sample of the mentioned o.o.p kits. the price of the Sopwith @ 7380 japanese Yen is VERY reasonable IMHO. I was badly overloaded in the luggage department (i returned from a diving trip) so carrying the kit to Europe was sadly not an option. For those desperate to lay their hands on any these kits may i suggest you to visit their site (www.volks.co.jp) and drop them an line. ([email protected]) The staff in the shop probably speak barely anything else than Japanese but Alexander Glass (UschivdR) gave a workshop over there so someone will be able to respond to a request for a quote for the kit and P&P.
