Going down in flames
« on: December 14, 2015, 09:51:31 AM »

I was looking for another photo in the depths of my computer and came across this one, from one of the most amazing days of my life!

My moment of glory - in the TVAL RE8, getting a burst from my Lewis gun into the belly of an Albatros DVa.

If this had been real combat, the RE8 would already be going down in flames. Even though I knew he was coming, the Hun came in from underneath us and my first sight of him was a nose and a pair of machine guns coming up over our tail.
