« on: December 02, 2015, 05:28:54 AM »
For a short time BNA Model World in Australia has the 1:32 scale Special Hobby Bristol M.1c on special, quite a considerable saving off full price.

 Des,
That is an excellent price my old friend. I'll be taking a look at their site directly. I hope the shipping doesn't eat away at the saving too much.
Thank you for the heads up.
Highest Regards,

Thanks for the heads up Des,
$51 inc. postage for me.
I'll be modelling Capt Harry Butler's red devil with that. (I have the decals from the other resin kit)
regards
Daryl

The Special Hobby Bristol M.1c is an amazing model which I have just started making. Detail is very close to Wingnuts quality and the resin wicker seat is an absolute jewel. The BNA sale price is less than half what you'll pay for a WnW model, for pretty much the same quality. I was going to replace the kit's Vickers with a WNW item but upon close examination, the kit Vickers is fine as it is. Buy with confidence!

It's excellent value Jim, if your wife agrees I would certainly grab a kit.

I had to use that exact process the other day when my wife looked at the credit card bill and saw paypal for the Aviattic Pfalz Lozenge  ;D

A great kit, but the decals are awful. Grab the alley cat aftermarket set for their resin kit or use WNW spares.

Anyone know what better detailed parts are included to replace the SH kit? Only shows decals
