Just found this. Rick your Camel is a stunner. I have a great attachment to this one because I was shadowing your build with my own Camel that remains on the shelf for now.

Lance, your peeled paint is utterly convincing and your Clerget Camel is another really classy build. I only recently learned that there were so many great Canadian WW1 aces. Your builds are a fitting tribute to them.

Sopwith 2F.1 Ship's Camel - HMS Furious, July 1918
This is an old model from my 1/48 days. Apologies to members of Allan Wright's wwi list who will have seen this before but if it's OK with Dave W, I thought I'd give them a new home - and something for me to attempt to better now in 1/32. Subject is N6605, which took place in the hugely successful raid on the airship sheds at Tondern. It was flown by Lt NE Williams who had to land in Denmark where man and machine were interned till the end of the war.

Sopwith F.1/3 'Comic' Camel - 44 Squadron RAF, Hainault Farm
Another of my old 1/48 models. B4614 was flown by LT WE Nicholson and painted in the curious shade of green developed by the family paint business of one of the pilots.

Sopwith F.1 Camel - 28 Squadron RAF, Florence 1919
Another old 1/48 model with some tauro chequer decals but mostly hand painted. Post war the pilots of 28 Sqdn went to town with colourful individual markings!

Sopwith F.1 Camel - "Ruston 1000th"
Another old kit. Unfortunately my carefully applied markings were ruined when my use of a black sharpie caused bleeding under the varnish! After all the work I was loathe to bin it, but it wasn't my best! Maybe I'll do better in 1/32.

Hi all,This model represents the Sopwith F1 ‘Camel’, Serial No.B6313 (later modified version), as flown by Major William George ‘Billy’ Barker,  scale build - CO of No.139 Squadron, RAF, based at Villaverla, Italy during August 1918. This model depicts the later version of B6313, when field modifications were carried out to introduce four cooling slots in the engine cowl, linen covering removed from the centre section of the upper wing and cockpit decking sides reduced or removed.

The second in an ongoing series of the olde Aurora kits I had hanging from my ceiling when I was but a lad.

WIP:   https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=13337.0

This is the Monogram issue from 1979 of the Aurora kit. Some scratched bits, no aftermarket. Vallejo paints with E-Z line rigging. All the control horns are scratch built, I somehow managed to break them all off.

The ubiquitous bottom shot.

I did Roy Brown's aircraft in what seems to be the generally excepted scheme on the day he encountered von Richthofen.

Another oldie I did as a kid redone with AMS.

Thanks for looking....

Lovely job Allan, another terrific example of what can be achieved with "obsolete" kits.
