Special Hobby 1/32 Bristol M1C
« on: November 02, 2015, 09:05:33 PM »
Hi all

I thought it’s about time I put something up on the forum. This is the Special Hobby Bristol M1C.  I made it as a respite from the Academy Camel which has taken years off my life. It’s a nice kit, although the decals are, as some have noted, so thin that it would be easier to apply a handful of wriggling grass snakes.  I persevered as I like the chequers & stripes so much. I also deviated a little from the suggested painting guide, mainly as I liked the metal finishing.

Cheers

Ps  I hope this works – I haven’t used photobucket before.

What an attractive piece of work, FF, and the base really adds something to it. Well done! I've got this model in my stash and maybe one day I'll get round to it, though probably in a wartime scheme.

Best wishes
Nigel

This is a beautifully done model, FF. The weathering and wear done on the natural metal is a superb job, and the base is spectacular, nicely done all round!
Cheers,
Lance
