Beautiful work, Jörg.  the variation in the fuselage colour is terrific.  Very

Very nice, Jörg! The engine looks great.

I also liked the chipped green paint and worn, shiny metal look of the vice that is holding the engine. People work really hard to simulate that look. The armor guys would be jealous! ;) ;D

Wow! This is looking Prima, Jörg! All of it is great but I think the fuselage is especially fine. Convincing and wonderfully subtle color variations.
YOU are kicking butt!

Cheers from NYC,
Michael

Hello my friends,

Thank you for the kind and uplifting words.  :D

Currently hold me a little sniff and a running nose back from the workbench.
Not really, but the time at the workbench is not so long now. ;)

Kindly regards
Jörg

Hi,

I like New York, have been there 2 times, the last time we celebrated the wedding of our niece in Central Park and the next day we went on a bike tour with Bikethebigapple. This was in the evening and the weather was great, just wonderful along the Hudson.  8)

Of course there is also a beer for you, or even 2  ;) if you should come to Berlin again. I know old German "Kneipen" with good beer and even good food. :D

And thanks for the tip, I'll take care of the struts. i hope!  ;)

Kindly regards

Jörg

PS. It is of course everyone else cordially invited to look at the beautiful Berlin and to enjoy a good glass of beer with me. Also a Boy from California. ;-)

I have only just found this Jorg - somehow I did not see it. I am bowled over by the quality of your work - for someone who has not made a model since 1984 I can only say that if I had managed to do so well with my first model after such a long break I would have been over the moon. This is truly outstanding work in every way - the wood finish, metallic parts on the engine, extra detail, etc show that you have the makings of a master modeller. Brilliant.

Hi,

Thank you very much, but not too much praise before the end.
Well, I've tinkered a bit in the meantime. A few bases for my miniatures. But not much, so I am surprised myself that it works quite well.
There are still some hurdles that I have to overcome. The decals on the wings currently running not just liquid. ;)
In addition, already sometimes difficult to find the motivation to go back to the workbench. Until now, I can do it still outsmart myself. ;)

Thank you and i wish you all a nice weekend!

regards

Jörg
