Hello there,

anybody with any sort of fuselage plans for Fokker E.V... I have plenty of pictures so Im looking for some accurate plans so I can scratch it from evergreen profiles.

There are lots of references about the Fokker E.V / D.VIII online. One of the best is the notes about the construction of Achim Engels' replica currently flown by TAVAS - see here:

and of course the Datafile. But if you google "Fokker D.VIII plans you will find a few - not sure if legally uploaded - 3 views.

Hi there,

thanks for this, I didn't know about this particular build - great pictures!!! ;) I more look for plans, I have a plenty of reference material (pictures and photos), the stuff I have from internet doesn't seem too accurate as most of it is for RC models... I guess I will just try to copy the one I have in box from Avis...

ww1 aero printed plans for nthe e.v years back. it was in a few different issues. below is a link for the journal index which you can tool thru and find which issues had e.v drawings. the second link is the master materials list which is a listing of drawings and plans copies you can buy in packets from ww1 aero.you have to read the info and check the " i agree to terms" box and then you are off. its divided into drawings on aircraft and engines.

after posting the links i went to look at the master materials list, it seems they are in the process of converting over to pdf downloads instead of actually mailing you paper copies of the plans. i did not see the e.v listed on this short list but above it says this is a small portion of what is available so you can contact them and see if they can help you.below is a link to the drawing index which is what  i should have sent as the 1st link above.it looks like issues 202,145,119,151,185,147,and 139 all have drawings of the fokker e.v although 202 seems to have the most.the other issues have certaing parts as described if you are looking for a specific detail. you can getr issue 202 by either searching ebay or other bokksellers, or you can click on the ww1 aero store link and they have that issue for sale as a print copy for $31.45 of pdf dowload for $10.  the old master materials list had packets for sale at various prices. you for example get a packet with all of the available drawings for a specific craft for a flat rate mailed to you. you can ask and see if that is still an option for the e.v this is the best i can do atm. goo luck

you are welcome lukas. WW1 Aero is my favorite magazine. because it specifically deals with aircraft,plans,builds of models as well as real flying replicas and restorations. over the front and cross and cockade are good but the lean towards events and pilots more than the way the aircraft were constructed. the first 80 issues of WW! Aero are a tad thin especially the earliest ones after #80 and especially after#100 it really gets good. i use the website to check which drawings and such are in each issue before i buy one. oif its all jennys,wright bros and other common stuff i usually pass.
