WNW AMC DH9- The Lobster
« on: October 22, 2015, 11:39:59 PM »
For your delectation. A really enjoyable build, for the Romsey Modellers club competition. I'll take this to Yeovilton model show this weekend, but I dont think it will stand too much transportation.
The kit decals behaved very well. I used white and black EZ line and Bob's buckles.

Magnificent!  This one will surely stand out in your collection next to all that PC10.

A gem of a model Dave, you have done a superb job with this build, the painting, the decals and the rigging are all excellent and the weathering tops it off nicely.

Beautifully done, Dave. And a very unique scheme - you've pulled it off very nicely.

Yeovilton show you say? On vacation from Canada, we pulled into that area a year or so ago looking to sample a bit of Ilchester cheese (which we were led to believe was staggeringly popular) and weren't disappointed. Ended up doing a quick tour of the Fleet Air Arm Museum and seeing their beautiful Sopwith Pup replica.

Cheers,
Gary

Dave, kudos for doing a fine job of making a really challenging finish look both attractive and realistic. I am sure you will do well at the show.
