No need to introduce the SSW D-III here...
...neither Ernst Udet's machine.
This time, the scene depicts Udet's fiancee Lola Zink being photographed in front of the machine.
The only 1/72 kit currently available is the ex-Toko now issued by Eastern Express. It suffers from a few errors in shape, ie the span is a little too wide, the upperwing cutout is too shallow and the elevator has an insufficient chord. I could do nothing for the span as reducing it would have made the spacing between ribs irregular. But the upperwing cutout was reshaped and the elevator was scratch-rebuilt and covered with painted rolling paper.
Apart from Eduard Spandaus and seatbelts, the detailing is scratch, with home-printed lozenges. Orion figures.
