WNW Felixstowe Largest 1/32 Biplane?
« on: August 22, 2015, 12:35:41 PM »
Is the Wingnut Wings Felixstowe the largest 1/32 scale biplane? If so, was the Wingnut Wings Gotha the largest BEFORE the Felixstowe was released?

Yes,

Felixstowe (Early): 91cm wingspan - Released on 16 December 2014
Felixstowe (late): 91cm or 92cm wingspan depending on build - Released on 16 December 2014
Gotha G.IV: 73cm wingspan - Released on 27 February 2015Released on December 2010
AEG G.IV (early and late): 57cm wingspan - Released on 27 February 2015

So in answer to your question the Felixstowe - late variant is the largest 1:32 WWI biplane kit available.

If they were to release a Handley Page 'o' type it would have a wingspan of 97cm and then the Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI would have a wingspan of 1.3 meters!

I did it in order of longest wingspan rather than release date.
