You're right, Lance.  I already have an early Fee, the SE5a and both Windsock Specials and had forgotten how much those books go for.  It is a good deal.
Cheers,
Bud

I have exactly the same kits and books as you just listed, Bud. It is a good deal since I also paid full price, but I don't think I would really need 2 Fees! I'm sure after building one I would be all rigged out!

I have one Fee (built!) and the book on it. Both fantastic, the deal is fine for anybody wanting two Fees.
On the other hand, I do not have either SE5a or a book on it. I am being tempted but, then, do I really want SE5a model?... I have been asking myself this question for some time now. The deal may just change the balance of chances...

Just did a currency conversion on Xe.com for the Fee and book deal. The $US 198 price comes out at $Australian 269, so no discount on the kits as this is what it would cost to buy the two models separately. The book would be free which is good, but I already have a Late Fe2b and don't need another.

I already have three SE5a kits so not tempted by this deal although the SE kit is really really nice and highly recommended!.

Still the concept of special deals with bonus reference books is a good move and to be encouraged.

I think you are right about encouraging the deals. Perhaps a Gotha and Gotha book deal would tip the scales for me :-)

PS: I now consider the Gotha a real bargain compared to the AEG!

Same here! If the Goth and book came out as a set I would be all over it!

WNW would have to acquire a reasonable # of each book. Wonder who approached who and what that may bode for the future. Grassy knoll, moonscape in a studio, you pick a conspiracy theory.....

Maybe a single Fee (either), with the book may tempt me right now,
but the shrinking Canadian Loonie has certainly put a damper on things as it
stands.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Hey Ernie, a shrinking Canadian Loonie, I've also got a shrinking Aussie Dollar.  They're talking about increasing our Consumption Tax and also taxing the internet purchases.  Gasp!  OZ is going to be like the UK soon.

Can someone in the USA please adopt me (I come with a complete stash) and prefer to go to a good forum family.  not much demand for 50 year old babies Steve :))

I'm now in buying mode Ernie and after a little re-stock, I'll just start building the stash from now until, hmmm, croak-it. :)  It's nice to get the reference books but securing the kits is important from my perspective.

I'll adopt you for a small price! Some of those small wheels you make, or used to make. :D

I'm out here in sunny Los Angeles, but I'm also 50 so it would be a strange father/son combo! :o ;D

I could use some semi-skilled labor. How are you with a table saw?

I'm very good with table saws, band-saws, circular saws and all types of precision cutting.  You wanted semi-skilled, right?

The FE2b special is missing from the home page . Maybe, hopefully, they will redo it with just one kit. That would tempt me to spend money
