Hello from me...

Hi, my name's Derek, 59 years old and returning to model making after a 40 year holiday  ;D

I've already collected a good few kits on various subjects but after recently reading Sagittarius Rising and Winged Victory my interest in WW1 aviation has been revived and I'm stunned at the quality and beauty of WW1 models that I've seen here and elswhere. Hopefully I'll be able to reach that high standard.

Looking forward to learning and contributing.

Hello Derek and welcome to this wonderful forum. It's amazing how many of us have returned to model making after a significant break. If you're aspiring to high standards, there so are many people willing to encourage and share ideas along the way.

is the place to be.  Tons of knowledge from modelers of all abilities and the
