Roden 1/32 Spad VII c.1

All,
Mostly built OOB with some minor detailing to cockpit, undercarriage, MG and cooling vents. I also kept the rigging simple (no turnbuckles) on this one. The kit supplied decals are not the best to work with - very thin and brittle so ended up having to touch up with paint on some of those applied.
By no means perfect, but I am generally happy with it overall.
Regards
Dave

That is another very fine build Dave. Never mind about the turnbuckles the rigging still looks very good and as usual your paintwork is in a class of its own - better than 1st class!

Dave,
I'd call it anything but not perfect; great colour scheme, top quality work, and a very appealing result. Nicely done!

Dave,
Gorgeous SPAD! Like the others I am impressed with your rigging. What did you use?

Congratulations Dave on producing such a stunning looking model, the overall finish is superb, great colours, and your rigging is faultless, well done.

Dave, you have taken an average kit and turned it into a masterpiece. Beautiful paint scheme!

Lovely! You've dealt with the rigging really well, with this kit I suspect turnbuckles could at least end up over-egging the thing, and maybe cause problems with their fidliness. You've used paint to render them I think? Very effective.
Great to see a SPAD being built
They might not be the prettiest planes, but to me they have loads of character.

Many thanks, gents -
Mark - yes, well observed - I did simply paint in dark grey to a sense of allusion to turnbuckles.
