How about this for a birthday present?
« on: August 12, 2015, 06:57:53 PM »
Well, today is my birthday and, with still waiting for a  BE2 to be released by WNW ........

It's a Hamer XT Series Velocity 2 bass. 2nd hand, but still very, very nice. I'm a real novice, and am starting the callouses, but hopefully with time and effort .....

Now, do we have a drummer, sax, lead guitar, keyboard player out there in the forum? My preferred genre: jazz/rock.

Best wishes
Nigel

Happy Birthday Nigel, judging by the photo it appears that you have had a very good Birthday.

Nice Bass, looks like you scored! Happy Birthday, Nigel.

I play a great keyboard, but I just don't play it very well! ;D

Thanks for the birthday greetings, Des, RB, George, Ernie and Mark.

It is indeed a cool bass. As yet I'm a hopeless beginner, but I'm learning. With you saying that you don't play your keyboard very well George, I think we'd have to go for some free-form jazz!

Best wishes
Nigel

Dear Bud, Martin, Lance, Scott, Gregory and Patrick.

Thank you one and all for your kind greetings on my birthday. That's a great photograph of a young Scott live on stage, but surely you have missed George (Pgtaylorart) on keyboards from the proposed band line up?

Best wishes

Nigel,

Just saw this thread. Belated Happy Birthday to you! I assume that your present is in 1:1 scale, and is not made of plastic! :D Hope you had a great day!  8)
Cheers!
