I'll be having a set as the RE8 is on my next order with WNW along with a Bristol. Would be early next year by the time I get round to an order though as I have the Bristol and an Albatros to plough through before then.

...... Unless the next GB is RE8s or trainers or ugly aircraft or ...
Brilliant idea, Gary.  I think a trainer GB is certainly in order.  These markings will make it interesting.
Cheers,
Bud

I am a definite starter for the first set - as I have flown in the TVAL  A3930, 9 Sqn. Pilot Lt.V.W.Burgess and I have the model sitting looking at me there really is no other option. PM me when you need/want money!

Hello Tony,

Lucky blighter! Presumably you are now minus an arm or leg or other valuable body part(s) - I know I'd willingly part with something valuable for such a flight!!

I was surprised that TVAL didn't apply the letter and serial in blue outlined in white - the photo I have in Windsock 23/6 indicates an outline and the white figures on their own just look too thick; maybe they will apply the blue later? Perhaps I'll also include them in plain white if there's room on the decal sheet - that'll give people the option.

Could I ask you to drop us an email for the pre-order? If I start short-circuiting Madame's system, I'll get clobbered!!

Lucky isn't the word for it! I have some amazing friends, who know people. I flew in the observers seat of their BE2F the same day as well. If I died that night I would have died happy!!!

Somewhere I have a  photo of me in the RE8 with the Lewis gun shooting at an Albatros. When I find it I will post it on the forum somewhere.

e-mail on it's way for the decals

Hi Rowan

Do the RE8 decals exist yet? Not that I am in a hurry, still to complete my Albatros, now have been diverted by my second favourite WW1 subject, the Eindekker and heaven help me if WNW come up with my favourite, the BE2!

Cheers

Hi Rowan,

interesting collection of decals for the Tate. The plane is such an unique fighter and the mashines you have choosen understress this fact. In peticular the belgian and the trainer versions and also the PC 12 variant are on my wishlist, but I had to make a decision based on the inbox-variants on my current built. That's life!

With greetings from Germany,

Dirk

Yes, thanks James, I'm a bit slow with my responses, I know!

Tony, as James says, they are available - if you had a pre-order in I don't know why you haven't been contacted, I'll give madame a gentle nudge... If not, drop us an emal and we'll sort you out a set.
