Fascinating and very useful, Martin. Thanks.

When doing Hippert's D.VII for the group build I used the wonderful Pheon resin and etched version to incorporate one of these, (with a bit of help from RB, if I remember correctly). Wanting to instal it within its in-cockpit position rather than just hanging over the side prior to fitting as shown in some photos, I did so only to find that not very much  of it could be seen once all sealed up. But I knew it was in there!
