The engine already looks very convincing, and will be even better after spark plugs and cables will have been fitted.

Thanks Martin, Stefan, Bud and George for your support!!!! I guess I will be waiting and order plugs from Taurus rather then using ones from original kit... And that will be ordered when Im in Aus alongside Bentley engine ;) Plenty of stuff to do in the meantime ;)

Hello there!!!

So here I'm in Australia... In all preparations for tomorrow "big" day(apparently) I didn't have enough time nor finances to set up my proper workbench yet :) But I have already ordered some oil paints, getting compressor for my airbrush hopefully by the end of the month with more modelling supplies as well...

In the meantime (to keep me sane) I came up up with few projects... number one is hangar for my Fokker(not sure if that will be for E.V or later for E.III/E.IV) diorama. I managed to secure some plans(thanks Hellboy!!!) and huge thanks to mr.Kabelka (fellow Czech modeler that sparked that desire for having such a thing in my collection). After I purchased some balsa wood I managed to get main shapes and parts ready for oil paint. Some parts have already been sprayed with Gunze base white colour so I can create wood grain that I like(or scale). Nothing too complicated but I'm happy - It gives me something to do and I will gain some very basic scratch building skills :)

left hand side -inside view, gunze white base applied

left hand side - outside view, gunze white base applied

roof - inside view, nothing applied

roof - outside view, some spare planks to be observed :D - not enough by the way so more balsa wood shopping is required next week...

Thanks for looking

Hello there again!!!!

So I started painting one side of the hangar... it is experiment so far and if you could tell me your opinion and suggestion I will gladly appreciate it ;)

It has been sprayed with White Gunze Base, then oil paint and some pigments from Mig production... it also will receive some nails...
