Bud, i used Tamiya XF-51 (%25), X22 (%5) and thinner (%70)  for tinted varnish effect on the top wing over CDL paint and decals. Also i used Tamiya XF-67 (%5+Thinner %95) for shades.

Bud, i use ethanol(ethyl alcohol) for flat, cellulosic thinner for gloss Tamiya acyrlics.
