Albatros D.III Oeffag 253.32 1/48 Eduard
« on: May 29, 2015, 05:58:42 PM »
Hello guys!!!!

So here we are... my historicaly first fully finished great war aeroplane :) Happy with the results despite many mistakes made during build itself.

Most importantly huge thanks goes to Richard from Aviattic for providing decals for this build - Id be utterly lost creating linen effect without his decals...

And of course big thanks to ALL of you who followed my build and motivated/inspired me towards the end. It was an adveńture of experiments - thanks Bertl for your small tutorials - great way how to improve little details!!!

Im now official taking another break from bench due to my summer season but hopefully I will be back before the end of the year. Until then please keep posting more of great builds so I can be even more motivated when I return back to some beauty from WNW :)

Your build was great to watch! In Spite of your professed Mistakes your Albatros is drop dead gorgeous! Like I said before, your combination of linen, wood tones, and color are beautiful and compliment each other well!
Enjoy your summer and I look forward to your return!

Truly stunning, Lukas!  One of the finest Oeffags I've ever seen.
