Over on LSP, there is a serious WNW collection for sale. You have to be a member to see it, but this is a serious collection. 5K for all, from Canada.

I tried to do the math but gave up. The Roden/Encore/Special Hobby lot works out to about $48 per kit which is pretty meh, considering shipping is on top and will be expensive.

Ok, I did the math, but I can't guarantee it's correct. (I'm pretty sure it is) The retail cost of all the WnWs kits, not accounting for OOP cost increases, is $4,506. He's asking $5,500. Does $1000 plus shipping equal the added cost of the OOP kits? It doesn't look like much if a bargain to me.

I arrived at the same number, with the same caveat. Like you I didn't attempt to add in the OOP cost, but I think he has all 10 OOP kits, so you are getting each OOP at $100 over retail ... plus what is going to be a huge shipping cost.

EDIT: only 9 OOP kits (no H-B W.29), so the OOP markup is more like  $111.11 per kit. Hmmmm.

Richard Maher regularly has "lots" ;) for sale (kits, books combos) on Hyperscale, often rare (Classic Airframes, etc) and esoteric stuff. One goggles at the apparent depth of his pockets to have aquired all these goodies  in  the first place! I would venture that he'll find few buyers willing & able to shell out the scratch he's asking for.
Though, there was that Hyperscale seller, a few years back, who got an astronomical sum (cashier's check, no less), for a carton of Aurora 1/32 B-25's (wonder how the buyer greeted the subsequent 1/32 HK release? :'()

A late response for Nige.
 LSP is dedicated to 1/32 and above in all aspects of airplane models. There is a huge amount of space given to other scales, so LSP is a good hangout for modelers like me who have built 1/32 pretty much since.... uh.... the early 70's. And yes, I do remember the dark days, when there was nothing new ever in 1/32. Prolly why I have so much love for old school kits.
