...but like a rubbery Phoenix, you will bounce out of the fire my friend.

Keep the Home Fires Burning,
While your rings are yearning.
Though your leader is far away
He dreams of home.
There's a rubbery lining
Through the dark clouds shining,
Turn the dark cloud inside out
'Til the big bellied boy comes home.[2]

Yes! But they are not going down without a fight!!

Nobby, he's not coming home.  That last salvo had Fat Otto's name all over it; he's gone.

Hi Des

The sale of Natural Rubber Tyres by Fat Otto is over.

Thank you very much for the indulgence.  I'm pleased to let you know that the modellers have taken the best of what I had.
I'm now preparing the last half dozen orders scheduled for shipping on 14 May 2015.  It would be timely to un-pin the Mr Otto
von Blotto post and let him sink into the archives of the forum.

I've attached again for posterity our favourite photo of Fat Otto.
I'm sure he'd like to be remembered this way.

Best Regards
Steven
