Hi y'all!
At last it's done!

Here are a few pics of the last steps.
As mentionned previously, the photoetched rib stitchings were really easy to apply and their look is really nice, although I'd like Aviattic to make the embossed design a little more proeminent, cos it tends to blend off a bit when you apply the decal rib tapes.
But see for yourself.

First glue them on your kit:

Apply some neutral paint, and then some preshading:

Then the rib tapes (I won't hide the fact that it takes forevvvvvvveeeeeeeeeer).

You can see the start of the  with the homemade tunrbuckles.

Then the finished product.

I'm working on the paint job for a figure, and once done I'll post some more pics with outside lights.
Hope you liked it!
Ciao
IWik
PS A BIG thanks to all those who helped me out on that one! ;)

Stunning Iwik, a real beauty! You've made a masterpiece out of a "troubled" Kit, a real tribute to your skills. That wood panelling is magnificent!
Cheers,
Lance

Congratulations on a superb model, Iwik! I really like the treatment you
gave the white tail and of course the woodgrain.  There is nothing that
doesn't look extremely well done my friend.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Crikey! -

That is the most realistic model aircraft I have ever seen - your wood fuselage and weathering are exceptional.
