Avid WW2 builder here, just got the WW1 bug!
making small steps into this wonderful world. Just completed an Eduard Roland CII and working up to a WNW build very soon.
I am based in the UK (West Midlands)

Uh oh, got the bug! Better say goodbye to all your WWII buddies because you'll never go back!
I'm sure I speak for many here when I say welcome, and I'd love to see your Roland CII.

Welcome to the forum, Ade. This is the place to be for
anyone who is entering the wonderful world of early
aviation models. I'm sure you will enjoy the ride! Good
to have you aboard.
Cheers,

Welcome to this great forum, Ade. Though now living in France, I spent over half my life living in the wonderful city of Birmingham, and then a number of very happy years on the edge of the Black Country, in Halesowen.
Best wishes

Welcome to the forum Ade,
are you a member of any of the midlands modelling clubs, or do you prefer to model at home only.

Thanks for the great welcome guys.
I'm not a member of any clubs at present - way too many other things going on!
I am a serving member of the Royal Air Force (23 years) so aircraft are kinda in my DNA...

Really good to meet some nice folk here!
Checked out a lot of your lovely faces on the Featured Modeller section too.
Well, I took the plunge and ordered a WNW Eindecker...I await it with trepidation.
