Hello again!!! Bit more progress... this time massive thanks to Richard and Aviattic for decals...I cant tell how much beautiful they are and I could hardly do them justice, those on pictures are waiting for to be sealed. Other 2 pictures are finished wood on fuselage :)

Hope you guys like it...

Lukas,
Great work on the separate wood panels, the contrast is just enough to highlight the feature. The Linen is spectacular, you have a real winner emerging here!

Lance

Lukas, the Alby's wings and fuselage look spectacular!  The
Aviattic linen is amazing and your wood treatment are absolutely
wonderful.  Are the nails from a decal?  I look forward to seeing
the next updates. :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Hi Ernie!!! Thanks for positive comment ;) I used decals for my WNW Albatros previously but found them "too"big for this scale so I just used riveter tool that I had from my WW2 days :D And to highlight them I used "Wood ageing solution" from MIG which gave that surface sort of used/weathered look. It was my first time using oils only for wooden surface and I think that oils are winning over decals right now :)

And thanks to George, Rick and Des for positive comments!!! Im very happy you are enjoying this build.
Cheers!!

Beautiful work, Lukas!  The fuselage finish is superb, mate.  I'm really enjoying this thread- and want a 1/32 Oeffag D.III more than ever.   :)  Luckily I have both Roden kits that I can despoil with an attempt as converting one of them.

Cheers.

Dal.
