I do have a resistance soldering iron set, but I haven't used it in years. I'm going to need a tutorial to get me up and running.

George

Easy peasy. Clean and flux the connecting surfaces, attach ground to bigger part, dry fit part to be attached, hold solder at joint, place tool on solder and hit the pedal. Grounding vice is nice to have. Soldering paste works well too, then you can use other hand to hold part...

Thanks, Bo! I'll give it a try when the wings come in.

I just ordered a set of these also  Am I right in assuming the shrinkwrap technique would be to cover them in clear shrink and them cover with the Avittic linen decal? I might have to try the fuselage also What a great looking model that would make One other question I haven't tried the linen decals are they user friendly and do you need setting solution? Also can you apply markings decals on top or do markings need to be painted Thanks for any help

Yes, cover with clear shrink wrap, then spray with a gloss white. A thin coat will still keep the translucency, and create a good base for the Aviattic decals. Just apply them as you normally would, and add markings, etc. over the top. Follow Richards directions for applying the Aviattic decals. Lather, rinse, repeat. :)

This I would use for a cellon-covered Eindecker(if I was into 32nd scale)!
