Fokker Eindecker wings
« on: March 27, 2015, 12:13:56 AM »
I saw on facebook that Radu Brisnan will be coming out with photo etch wings for the WNW Fokker Eindekkers. The picture I saw looked fantastic. I dont see it on Radus web page yet though. Anyways thought this might be of interest to some people. I'll write him and ask for more info and pictures.

These would be the "bare", uncovered wings?

Yes, ribs, spars, etc. Looked pretty neat, although far beyond my skill sets I think.

They do look great! As for my skill set I really struggle with getting PE in place and securely glued  :(

I think your gonna have to crack out the soldering iron for this set.....I wouldn't try to glue it myself.  Interesting thing about this set, I have been on the fence with buying the Eindecker, but now this has my interest piqued.  I wonder if this will open the door for more of this kind of stuff....I'm thinking Felixstowe  :) :)

I do have a resistance soldering iron set, but I haven't used it in years. I'm going to need a tutorial to get me up and running.
