How many of you remember this kit from 1967, better still, how many of you still have this kit.

I don't know if I had that kit or not when I was growing up. One that sticks in my mind though was a kit with 3 pre war aircraft. One was a Bleriot. They were plastic and had tissue paper covering. I think Frog maybe? One reason I remember is because I built it on vacation in the motel until Mom made me go and play with the other kids in the pool.
Everything else was WWII tanks and planes although I have a strong recollection of a SE 5a, but I dont remember scale or company.
If it wasnt so small I would love to make a Bleriot again.

Hi Des,
I remember seeing one of these in the secondhand section of Hannants London. It didn't last long in said secondhand section  :o

Yes! Don't have it any more, but it was a treasured birthday present back in the day.

Not that special packing of them three all together, but built the Fokker Dreidecker when I was about 12 (my mother loved it!). Have all three of them in my treasure-stash - they were the first kits I bought out of pure sentimentalism...

I do not have this triple kit, but I have the very same box style of each one, with the Fokker molded in light blue...

I was born in December 1967, so it's bit too early for me.

It looks pretty cool even now, back in the day it must have been amazing.

I never had that boxing (always wanted it), but did manage to get all three kits seperately. FWIW, I still have the SPAD kit somewhere in the stash. It was a Christmas present, and for some reason went unbuilt.

James, I have the pre-war set somewhere in my stash too. I ran across it somewhere and snatched it up.

I was 14 in 1967 so I was certainly building models. That being said I do not recall having seen this boxing. I would have loved it back then! ( Or Now)  8)

If these are the old 1/28 scale kits, I used to have the individual boxings that featured the markings of Werner Voss (the triplane), William Barker (the Camel) and Frank Luke (the Spad).  Not any more.

Yes it was the 1/28 scale kits together in one box. The Triplane was molded in red, the Camel in green, and the SPAD in tan iirc. The SPAD was a huge problem for 8 year old me because I did not have any brown paint for the camo, only green and red which I mixed together on the advice of my parents and which predictably looked awful.

I built them all, can't remember their eventual fate but I'm guessing it involved copious amounts of lighter fluid and firecrackers.

I don't remember the 3 kit version but I did have each individual kit back then.  I was living in Silver Spring, MD and stationed at Ft. Meade back then.  There was a great hobby shop near my place and I still have the collection of Profile Pubs I bought there.

I recall the Triple kit but never did have it. I did have all three in individual boxes, built them for my Boy's Bedroom in 1970-71 and they hung from their ceiling like a mobile for years. I also had the SPAD and Camel again in later years, great little Kits for their time!
Cheers,
Lance
