I wasn't sure if this should go here, or in another category. In any event, it is relaxing to see the work of others. I was made familiar with Ken Foran's scratch-built beauties some years back. I love scrolling through the Sopwith Camel, and the Spandaus with working cocking levers and a round in each chamber on the Tripe just amaze me.

Just click on each thumbnail.
Note: I'm not convinced he got the rim depth on the .303 rounds on his Camel correct.

Ok, I just checked out this site and it is amazing!!! I don't know whether I'm really inspired to up my game or just give up and take up basket weaving...
Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks George. Here's the main site's addy:
http://www.wwi-models.org/
A lot of dated info there, but it's a great glimpse into where things were sometime back.
Here's the address for the gallery:

If you look through, you'll see quite a few familiar names I am sure. Back in the day, we even had "WWI List Buttons" so we could find each other at shows. I still have mine.
I have aspired for years to emulate the work of former Listee Alberto Casirati. His 1/72nd scale builds are so clean, neat, and precise:

Enjoy!

Thanks for posting the link, Warren. Truly mind blowing stuff. I remember being directed to Ken's work when I first joined the list, but haven't seen them in a while. The Camel, in particular, is otherworldly.
Cheers,
Bud
