Pfalz DIIIa
« on: February 27, 2015, 08:41:42 PM »
Work in progress.  ;)

Just cleaning and dry fitting at the mo. Not sure of livery just yet, but thinking along the lines of a Jasta 30 bird or a full on Zebra job.

More to come.
Cheers,

Von B

Yes, a JaSta 30 bird would be nice. No surprise with Pheon's decal sheet available, though.  8)

Looking forward to whatever you decide, VonPfalz!  You are
sure not to disappoint as you have become somewhat of an
expert Pfalzer.  Onward and upward, my friend. :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Watching in rapt anticipation, von Pfalzmiester! I just took delivery of another of these a week ago, however the "flavour of the week" for me is Jasta 18 at this point.
Cheers,
Lance

I'm looking forward to watching you do your Pfalz magic on another one of these, Bob!  Jasta 30 gets my vote.  Have you seen Ronny Bar's rendition of Bethge's 5888/17 in Kowalski's "Pfalz-Fighter Aircraft"?  He depicts it with the early style bottom wing.  Looks really cool.  That's the one I plan on building.  Rowan's decals would require a little modification to do this one, but I think it would be fun.  I'd love to see you tackle that scheme.
Cheers,
Bud

Bob,
I am with the others in that I am looking forward to seeing you do another Pfalz as your previous builds were gorgeous! I have one WNW and one Roden to do in the near future so following another build will be helpful!

Hi gang
Thanks for looking in!  :)
Updates will be sporadic due to twisting wire, cutting tube, cutting vinyl, living life, paying bills, riding motorbike, keeping the other half happy, failing at keeping the other half happy  ;D

Hi Bud,

I've not seen Ronny Bar's rendition of Bethge's 5888/17. But the early wing version sounds cool. Need to find said image  8)

Well, one does own a vinyl cutter, so I may as well use it!

I'm going to attempt Mr HÖhn's bird. It will either be a roaring success or a total car crash!
