I usually post photos of his scratch-built models ..... thought this time I would post some photos of the Pen & inks he did for The American Air Racing Society .....

A very talented man Ken, his drawings are excellent, and a model maker to boot, extraordinary and very gifted.

Very nice work indeed. I'd imagine the Scratch Builts are just as pretty! Will you be able to post some of his work?

Cheers,

Thanks Lance,

The Albatros he is holding is one of them but I have tons of photos in the attic .... even the beautiful Fokker D.VII he built me full lozenge and all ..... He was not so happy when I poked bullet holes in it.... but I was only 5-6 years old at the time and he figured that was bound to happen! LOL

 I have posted these before!

It was my father who actually made the first models with me (times of communism) so models were rather hard to buy... My first WWI bird was a Fokker DVII by Smer, I got it for my birthday. He is still the first one to see my progress. BTW in the place where I live there used to be an aerodrome where Germans repaired their planes during WWI, as far as I know it was somewhere around late 1917 and 1918. From the unverified sources I know that there were Fokkers DVII in Jarocin.
Best regards
Filip
