Pfalz D.XII
« on: February 14, 2015, 02:07:00 AM »
Hi all,
I thought you might like to see my Pfalz D.XII as flown by Jasta 32b during 1918.
The kit was from WNW with third part extra's of hand made turnbuckles, guns, seat belts from HGW and figures by Model Design.

Sandbagger,
I've been enjoying the Models you've just posted here, some lovely work. Tell us about the (acrylic?) display case on this one. Do you make your own, if so how to you cut the stock, or do you get them on the market??
Cheers,
Lance

Hi there,
I have the cases made from an Ebay supplier:

Inperspextive

They are made to order in piano black acrylic with transparent acrylic cover.  Order from within the UK they cost around £37 inc postage for a 12"x12"x5" case.
I sit them on a plastic turntable to allow the display to be rotated without the need to handle the case.

Very nice DXII! I love the prop and camo on the fuselage. Very nice presentation!

Whoops, I think I have a new favourite! ;D  Very nice D.XII!
The cases are a bit pricey, but do the job beautifully!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Hi all,
Many thanks for your forum comments on my models.  It means a lot to have comments from many who I consider ‘masters’ in this craft  :)
