Pfalz D.IIIa
« on: February 14, 2015, 01:38:16 AM »
Hi all,
My WNW Pfalz D.IIIa of Jasta 18, 1918 as flown by Hans Muller (12 victories).
Third party bits were seat belts from HGW, guns, prop by Doug Craner, figures turnbuckles from Gaspatch.

Lovely Pfalz! Perhaps my favorite of the 3 you have posted. Well done rigging, paint scheme and again a beautiful prop!

Another beautifully built and finished Pfalz, this has always been one of my favorite colour schemes.

IMO the scheme looks dull in the WNW brochure but you have brought it to life excellently. I am now considering doing this scheme for mine to go along with the Albie ive done after seeing this.

Hi all,
Many thanks for your forum comments on my models.  It means a lot to have comments from many who I consider ‘masters’ in this craft  :)

Just gorgeous. Not only the aircraft in itself is beautiful, but your diorama is one of the most "eye candy" I've seen.

I REALLY like adding the figures.  It gives it life and scale.  Really a neatly finished model to be proud of.

Cheers,

Dan

She's truly gorgeous, Sandbagger!  This is a scheme I'd like to do someday.
